My Story
My life experience has been one of my greatest teachers.
I lost my brother when I was six. There is a lot from that time I don't remember, and a lot I think I blocked out. My mum and dad kept me away from the hospital, and as a little girl I remember feeling unseen and unheard.
Then, from around the age of 12, something started opening up for me.
I started seeing spirit.
I saw my grandmother, and from there I started seeing spirit, feeling spirit and talking with spirit.
As I got older, I started channeling and giving people messages. But the funny thing was, I still didn't really understand that I had a gift.
I didn't understand that knowing. I didn't understand those little nudges I would get. I didn't understand why I could feel things, know things or have information come through for somebody.
It was just there.
And because I didn't really understand that part of myself yet, I didn't understand how important it was to actually listen to myself either.
Relationships went on to become some of my biggest karmic lessons.
I can see now how much I looked outside of myself for validation. I put people first. I became codependent, and somewhere in all of that, I lost parts of myself.
I wanted to be heard. I wanted to feel validated. And for a long time, I connected my own self-worth to what I was receiving from somebody else.
That was a big one for me.
It wasn't until my last relationship that something really started to change.
I needed to come back to me.
Being a single mother has been another huge part of my journey.
Raising my daughters has taught me so much about unconditional love, strength and about learning to give that same love to myself.
Then in 2017, I found meditation.
And honestly, meditation changed my life.
I've meditated ever since.
It taught me how to become still. How to listen to myself again. How to reconnect with that part of me that had always known.
And from there, I went deeper.
Back into my spirituality. Back into my intuition. And into understanding myself on a level I never had before.
But what I know today hasn't only come from what I've studied.
It's come from what I've lived.
My lived experiences have become my stories.
And my stories are my truth.
That's why storytelling has become such a big part of who I am and how I work.
I share what I've lived. What I've learnt. What changed me. What helped me come back to myself.
And if something in my story inspires somebody else, helps them see something within themselves or reminds them of something they already know, then that's why I share it.
